Through this is an effective marketing tactic; boundaries are pushed when television sexuality enters girlhood. There is a sense of loss when the sexualization of girls is used as to gain profit. They are faced with vulgarities on television and sometimes dressed identical to teenagers as young as five. The effects of this are all too familiar. Little girls grow up believing that they are, in fact, their abilities lay in their sexuality. Preoccupied with making profit television, through advertising and sexual portrayal of girls have contributed to the loss of childhood. The commercialization of our culture has resulted in use of children as profit. During the last two decades, the childrens market has exploded in North America, and children are increasingly taking on the role of consumer. Businesses are governed by legislations and requirements that help support it’s continuity. In this assignment we will be looking closely at the documentation and it’s importance to guaranteeing a successful and child friendly business. CRB check, Child Record form, Accident and Emergency forms to more legally abiding forms such as the contract between the caregiver and receiver, are all in place to ensure practices are followed correctly. Various regulatory bodies such as Ofted[1] are there to ensure that this type of business is coherent to the legislations and rules to ensure a healthy and safe environment for the recipient The Child Record, helps to provide us with basic but mandatory information on the child. It also provides us with next of kin details and any other contact information that is essential to the child wellbeing and safety. It is a good practice to keep all forms directly related to the child grouped together such as medical records, existing injuries and accident forms. Medical records are vital to maintaining a child’s wellbeing whilst in care. It details information on the existing medical condition and allergies as well as prescribed and non-prescribed medication. We will look closely at activities that fall inline with the skills mentioned above and how this can help a child’s development intellectually, socially and physically. Regardless of age group, a child needs to be exposed to certain experiences and environment in order to build on their mental and physical health. Gross motor skills, is developed through physical play. This can be expressed through crawling, rolling around and supervised free movement from babies ranging from 0-12 months. Other activities help to enhance physical development of gross motor skills such as throwing and catching a ball helping to develop coordination skills, riding a bike helps to teach balance, hopscotch which can be regarded as an intellectual game; strengthens numeracy skills as well as developing physical movements. These gross motor skills are developed into Fine Motor Ski lls in later years. Fine Motor skills, develops skills and control of muscle movements. Examples of this would be fastening clothing, writing, drawing and using a knife and fork during meal times. These activities require coordinated and precise movements, which help to build a child’s development. Babies ranging from 0-12 months require a lot of care and attention in order to stimulate a child’s development you must hold your baby as much as possible so they feel warm personal interactions like hugging, eye contact and smiling. Playing and reading to your baby as well as using Multi sensory books are excellent in aiding you child to listen and hear music see the colours and feel different textures of materials. This greatly helps stimulate a baby’s intellectual development, which can again be improved upon during later years. ‘Provide your child with social experiences with other children by age 2 years. If he or she is not in day care, consider starting or joining a play group. Young children can learn important lessons from each other, especially how to get along with other people.’[4] Toddlers require different activities to help developed their physical, intellectual and social development, which begins from 12 months. An excellent activity to carry out with them would be board games as it helps to develop strategic thinking and coordination. It is also recommended that asking them questions will help develop their intellect and also prepare them for social conversations in the future. Teaching sign language at the age of 7-8 months will enable them to sign by themselves in the future. Providing your child with recreational experiences will enrich their social development. A good type of role-play to use would be a pseudo hospital environment whether your child uses empathy as well as soc ial skills to determine what is wrong with the patient. Helping your child to develop physically, intellectually and socially can begin at a young age. It is important that we express the need to teach our child even as studies have indicated they pick up on audio and visual and sensory communication even from birth. If travel is being planned under the basis of walking various factors will need to be focused on. Depending on the age of the child in the childcare setting we have to establish whether he or she is physically able to walk the distance. The childcare setting will need to establish if there is sufficient pushchairs/wheelchairs, reigns and reflective tabards for the children, any equipment used will need to be tested beforehand. Not only is it essential to plan before setting out, it is also essential to teach the children about different signs and situations that can occur whilst on path to the destination. Children need to be taught about road safety and the best way to do this is through theory and practice. By teaching children about road safety (do’s and don’ts) pelican crossing, green man signals and Zebra crossing we are expanding their road safety knowledge. Embedding safety practices such as stop, look and listen will help build awareness of the traffic on road. Today, almost all organizations face a dynamic environment characterized by rapid technological change, shortening product life cycles, and globalizations. Organizations need to be more creative and innovative than before to survive, to compete, to grow, and to lead (Jung et al., 2003; Tierney et al., 1999). An issue is that, for many sectors in general and manufacturing sectors in particular innovation seems unpredictable, mysterious, and apparently unmanageable (Tidd, Bessant, & Pavitt, 2005). The general problem is that sustainable and successful innovation is so difficult to be achieved by many firms (Marane, 2011; Al-Muafaq, 2009). In the increasingly competitive environment, firms turn to innovations to increase their performance, market share, market exposure and potential for revenue earning, but the stakes are high (Scantlebury & Lawton, 2007). While success in innovation may lead to greater revenues earning, value, and market shares (Hult, Hurley, & Knight, 2003), mistakes can lead firms to the complete breakdown carefully crafted business strategy (Cozijnsen, Vrakking, & Ijzerloo, 2000). It becomes imperative for firms to develop the capability to innovate at a faster rate and in a sustainable level (Fruhling & Siau, 2007). Organizations are increasingly investing more resources on research and development, yet studies have shown that investment by itself does not guarantee the development of organizational performance and organizational innovation capability (Wol ff, 2007). The specific problem is that, Iraq manufacturing sector has a crucial role in gross domestic products of the country over the periods it placed the second rank to support the notional economic and contributes GDP more than 33% (Iraq annual report 2010). This sector is not spared by the challenges and effects of sustainable, competitive advantages and low level of innovation. In this context, they are suffering more than other organizations in terms innovation capabilities in manufacturing sectors in Iraq. Manufacturing investment commitment to innovation may not produce valuable outcomes unless leaders of firms know how internal and external factors are related to organizational innovation capability (Drake et al., 2006). The Iraqi manufacturing system has been suffering a lot of operational as well as marketing related problem. The poor innovation of the Iraqi manufacturing system was behind the call made by the former Iraqi prime minister to call for improving the manufacturing innovation throughout the restructuring processes (Marane, Asaad, and Mohamed, 2010).

Because of the problem with telemarketing that they call to early or two late they have rules and it's where the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCP), 1991 comes in two place where if you telemarketer you want on the Do Not Call List and from there on it take 31 days from the date you asked to be on the list for it in order to be removed and it have a 5 year register .

STRAP ON THAT BOOK

STRAP ON THAT BOOK Went to the community recreation center to walk the track, and I noticed a new childrens book on the counter where we check in. The rec center has allowed authors to put childrens books up there before, since so many kids are involved in the programs. I flipped through it, to see if it was self-published or traditional (it was self-pubbed)I asked about it, and the director said a retired school teacher wrote it. The illustrations were nice. A pretty book. I just published my book recently, I said. Oh, what kind? Mystery. The setting is in the Lowcountry, on Edisto, I said. Do you have one with you? I LOVE mysteries. So does my mother, she said. There I stood in workout clothes, no make-up and straight hair, and I caught myself selling my book. I promised her one the next day. (Which meant I had to return to workout, you know.) So I gave her the book the next day and went to the track (love that air-conditioned track, nine laps equals a mile). From that point on, I decided to keep books in the proverbial trunk of my car, only mine are in a dry cooler in the back of an SUV, so the sun doesnt cook them. One thing you learn once you publish a book . . . it needs to be with you at all times. Youre talking it up to everyone, so why shouldnt it be handy? When budgeting for your promotional efforts, whether traditionally or self-published, be prepared to sell or give away a good number of books at inopportune moments. Dont get caught empty-handed, because those precious moments of opportunity might not come back around. If youre an author, that means you write books, and the public takes it for granted you have one in your back pocket.

For example, if we are to ask whether these teachers accept the use of deadly force and violence as a means to solve political problems or social issues, the answer would be an unequivocal no – not in any instance. It can be further argued that by invoking MLK, Gandhi, his Christian faith, and his unique family history, the President communicated a point of view to the electorate that was expressive of his moral sense of identity. If Obama as President continues to pursue what the Washington Times describes as â€Å"neoconservative policies† through military action abroad, he is indeed going against the moral tone that he communicated to his base in seeking election and should be held accountable in the upcoming 2012 election for it. The Washington Times (2011) writes in the editorial: â€Å"Mr. ... For now anyway. Mr. Obama’s motive - trying to dislodge an authoritarian regime in the name of the Libyan people - are solidly within the neoconservative framework.† (Washington Times, 2011) The article is limited in space but could have clearly noted that Obama has pursued the â€Å"Just War† doctrine through his policy of escalation in Afghanistan and Pakistan while drawing down in Iraq, and Libya is the latest example of that policy. President Obama’s 2009 Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech can be seen as one of the main locations where he develops the â€Å"Just War† doctrine and with it his reasons why he cannot or will not implement a purely pacifist foreign policy as advocated by Gandhi and MLK particularly. (NYT, 2009) What the Washington Times suggests is that at heart Obama is no different that Nixon or Eisenhower, who like the majority of Americans would â€Å"believe in† Christianity and not see it as inconsistent with war. Yet, t he Washington Times is not writing the editorial to advocate the position of MLK and Gandhi in politics, they are writing to exult with glee as Obama again sells these principles out and the â€Å"moral Left† writhes in agony. The implication of this tone is happier still in that the writers expect that Obama will likely lose the election, having sold out his moral base continually throughout his administration. Following the Washington Times arguments, it is easy to view the Obama administration’s economic policies as no real change from the neo-conservative Bush administration. President Obama continued the Wall St.â€Å"bailout† policies enacted by the Bush administration as well as expanding them. President Obama’s majority-led Congress extended the Bush tax cuts in another example of neo-conservative policy.
